Can you believe that we are half-way through 2019 already? Geesh, time flies. I was looking at my vision board today and I realized that I am so out of focus. Not too sure when this all happened, because I had very clear goals when the year started, but life happens and I am not beating myself up for it.
As we welcome a new month, it is always a great opportunity to revisit our goals, re-strategize and reset.
During the month of June, I would like to really focus on my mental health as well as in my physical fitness. Mental health is something that during the last four years, has become very important to me. I used to get up 30 minutes earlier three-times a week and practice meditation and yoga, then I stopped. So, this practice will have to come back into my life. When you really get into meditation, your life changes. At least, that has been my experience. I would also like to get back into running consistently; especially since I have Chicago Marathon and the Marine Corps Marathon this fall. My fitness has to be on point so that I don’t get injured.
As we start off this month, what are some of your goals to work on?
